The work “Corseted” is a series of photographies the artist took after pressing around her wrist a metal rope. It symbolizes the struggles of feeling stuck in between two worlds, in between mental and emotional.

Seven years ago, I traveled to Ghana for the first time. Since then, I have been consistently documenting this environmental issue on the beaches and the lagoons of this west-African country. People have learned to go about their daily routine, the plastic becoming just another perpetuum element of their environment.
